The Burdock Tea has a long list of health benefits such as detoxifying the body, healing the liver, preventing chronic disease, reducing inflammation, boosting the immune system, healing respiratory infections, improving hair health and soothing stomach disorders. Burdock root health benefits. Additionally, inulin acts as prebiotic and helps reduce body weight, and the blood sugar and cholesterol levels in the blood. Burdock root is especially containing proper amounts of electrolyte potassium (308 mg or 6.5% of daily required levels per 100 g root) and low in sodium.

Instructions 

  • Place 2 teaspoons of burdock root in 7 ounces of boiling spring water.
  • Allow the mixture to steep for 5-10 minutes.
  • Thereafter, pour the tea, add any natural sweeteners to it, and enjoy!

Notes

Burdock tea has a soothing and pleasant flavor. You may find its smell quite strong and you may even find its taste to be sweet and crisp, but you may add a bit of honey or lemon juice to improve the flavor if you don't find it palatable.
