INGREDIENTS:
Pau d'Arco is the inner bark of a tropical tree native to Central and South America. The tea brewed from this species is commonly referred to as Lapacho or Taheebo and contains lapachol, quercetin and flavonoids. Like Cat’s Claw, pau d’arco tincture should be taken in water with a little lemon juice so tannins can be absorbed through the colon.
STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Put 2 teaspoons of bark into 4 cups of boiling water.
- Let the bark sit in the boiling water for 20 minutes.
- Remove heat and let cool for at least 1 hour.
- Strain the water.
- Drink tea in small portions throughout the day w/a few drops of lemon juice, or use tea water for external use and vaginal flush (exclude lemon if flushing).
