Couldn't load pickup availability
Solomon’s seal is named after the wise King Solomon, whose magical workings were facilitated with the use of a special sigil or seal. Solomon's seal root in Traditional Chinese Medicine is used to restore qi to the Lung, Heart, Kidney and Spleen meridians. The herb is typically prepared as tea or tincture, taken in capsule form, or applied topically as a poultice, salve or spray.
Stir into hot or cold foods for a asparagus-likeness.
Prepare as a tea:
Place ½ teaspoon into 8-12 ounces of pre-boiled water.
Let set while the kernels puff up and sink.
Sip slowly and thoughtfully as a hot tea. You can even chew on the soft nuggets.
2 oz | 4 oz | 8 oz
Solomon’s seal is safe for most people but should not be taken in large doses or long-term. However, this herb may increase the effects of medications for diabetes and high blood pressure. It may also interfere with digitalis-based medications. According to TCM, this herb is contraindicated in people with spleen deficiency with dampness or coughs.
